I'm going to be returning a "shacket".  Do I need to launder it before I do so?  I've never returned something I've worn (once).

@Magicrat I don't know but I wouldn't bother.

@Magicrat - If it's machine washable, I would.  Dry clean - no.

I've never returned something I've worn, but I think it's a courtesy to wash it, since we know it will likely end up in the "As Is" section.

@Magicrat.  No, it's better not to launder it unless it's noticeably dirty/smelly.

I have never worn somthing and returned it.  If I get an item of clothing, I try it on and if I don't like it or it doesn't fit right, I take it off and pack it back up.  I've never "worn" an item, even if the hosts say use it for 30 days and if you don't like it return it.  I think those are the things that wind up in "as Is" or discarded.  Also, I would not try something on if i was wearing perfume, as that kind of thing could prevent someone from keeping it, if a returned item in new condition was sent back out.  I try to be courteous in that way, in the event I do return something.
