Hello,
I purchase a QVC gift card from my local groccery store about 3 weeks ago. The Pin number was not scratched and receipt shows it was activated. I've purchased other gift cards from this grocery store with no issue for many years. 2 weeks ago I tried to redeem the gift card and it showed a balance of 0. I understand when you redeem a gift card it becomes loaded in your account but my account still shows a balance of 0. The card was activated and the PIN was unscratched so it shouldn't have been stolen.
I spent over a hour on the phone and was just transitioned to various QVC departements with no resolution. Last person I spoke to said that QVC would conduct an internal investigation and should hear back in a few days. It's been over a week and not a single followup email or phone call. Has this ever happend to anyone & is there anyone I can contact at QVC to help resolve my concern?

@mmwas I am sorry this happened. Please reach out to our Customer Service department again as there is a note on your account that the gift card # is needed so the research can be completed.

I would go back to the grocery store and show them my receipt. I would request a new gift card..I don't think QVC will be able to resolve your issue. Tell them that the balance keeps showing zero. Something is definitely wrong if you have not used the money.
Another thought, call the gift card company and ask for assistance..

I had this happen with an Amazon card I bought at our local Vons at Christmas. They weren't selling ITunes cards because of issues, but I think it's an ongoing issue. I couldn't find my receipt, so we took the loss.

There has from time to time been a lot of publicity about theft of numbers from gift cards displayed in stores. I don't know how they do it but it seems to be an on-going problem.

Never buy a gift card from a display in a store. Crimmimals have ways to steal the activation codes.
You can read about this online.

You've been lucky.
I used to buy mine from my bank. They kept them in the vault.

Thanks @Barbara-QVC . Talked to several QVC Customer Service/Cashstar representatives for over 1 hr on on Mar. 22nd, said they would investigate.
Called again on Mar. 30th (Sat.) told to call back on Monday. Called on Monday (4/1) and told to call back on the 4/3. My account has been flagged and they should have the QVC gift card number after these repeated calls.
During this time I never received any confirmation email or followup calls about my issue, it's always been me reaching out.
Didn't expect this to drag on for 2 weeks, not a good experience.
