@mousiegirl  If I were you, I'd find a place to complain about the local operation on UPS's National website.  All you describe is completely out of the norm.  I wouldn't put up with it without a fight.

I pay QVC for delivery of packages, then I am forced to drive all the way to a store the next day to get the package.  Sometimes it is days before I am able to go to the store, stand in line, produce ID, sign for and then receive it.

 

Please consider changing the policy.
