Thanks.  I just sent my email to that address, as well. 

although I did always get a quick response at the other one, in the past

After the second email, I did hear from Melvin.  It seems my order got lost in the shipping process, they don't have the product in stock anymore, and a refund will be issued.

not the answer I wanted, but at least I have an answer now.
