Wayne-QVC doesn't seem to want to answer my question about removing 2 of my posts today, and they were in the 2 forums I have spent years helping people with electronic and medical and fitness issues.

How's about someone on the Moderator Staff send me an e-mail explaining exactly what seem, in his view, to violate your Community Standards.

Thanks,

I had a similar situation a few weeks ago.  People were talking about family relationships and I shared a family problem as in relatives "taking my mother to the cleaners" when she was critically ill.  It was deleted.  No idea.

As for one I always look for your posts and respect your information.  You have given me great electronics advice.  Thanks for that.

@hckynut - Hi John,  I had the same type of situation a while back.  I was just stymied as to why a post of mine was deleted.  I also asked for a Moderator to e-mail me an explanation and was never given the courtesy of a reply.

Yes, some will be quick to answer "if you don't like their rules....."  Until it happens to them.  You are always a thoughtful poster I enjoy reading, and you have many fans.

The reason the answr is so quick is because it is simple -- it is the rules.  If you o not like them, go elsewhere.

The OP had two posts deleted because he was argumentative.  He then opened a third, chalenging moderation and arguing.  It was closed.  Now he is opening a fourth. Seriously?  This iss becoming childish.f

As far as inconcistent moderation, I do not think that is as common as you believe.  The moderators do not read evey single post; it is impossible.  They can only espond when something is reported.  Believe it or not, some posts which violated the rules do not get reported, so how is the moerator to know?  If you think the moderators are singling out specific posters, you are incorrect.  The reason some people have more posts deleted than others is that they post things whih violate the rules more often and get reported by other posters.

Again, as stated bove, if you do not like te rules, go elsewhere.  No one is jeeping you here.

Contact the Social Team directly! Don't bring your drama to another forum, handle it with them via e mail.

@hckynut    I agree , I would contact him directly.   There are times I feel threads or comments are deleted for no good reason, but I just don't bother.  I Only had one major issue and I contacted them on the phone.   I agree with OP that trying to vent on a thread here will do you no good.   Good Luck!   I know how you feel!

There was a thread going on that appeared to be a spat starting.  Someone said something about bringing their baggage.  I said something about you can come to my house just bring your Dooney.  It was a joke and everyone seemed to take it that way except the mods.  I have had no issues with the ladies that moderate, but the men seem to delete everything too fast.  Not sure if they are reading the whole post before they delete.

Good Luck, I can see this is bothering you , so I hope you get an answer.

@KYToby

Thank you for your suggestion and for mentioning the rules. Like Judge Judy reminds those in front of her bench: "This is MY Playpen and what I say goes".  If only I could learn to interpret those rules correctly.

Very respectful of you to share your view.

I think a lot has to do with posts being reported inappropriate. Sometimes I think mods don't read the post and just delete it.

They also monitor facebook, so I'm not sure how much time they spend here and they surely can't read every thread.

If there is history between posters, the report inappropriate button is used a lot.

Just what I observe. And yes, email the mod with problems. I believe they prefer to keep it private.
