@SarahW you should be used to the Posters here by now. New Posters "all they do is complain". What the Posters here don't seem to understand that if something goes wrong, you look for a way to communicate, be it by Forum or phone or the stork.
I'm tired of it just as you are @SarahW but it would never change.
@SarahW wrote:Wow. I never fail to be disgusted by the hatefulness of this forum. Apparently none of you were ever a "NEW POSTER??" Displaying the kindness and good cheer of the season; you can all be depended upon for that.
Fran47--sorry you didn't get the mixer. I buy directly from KitchenAid; they have good sales on their website. Happy holidays and sorry for the "welcome" you received on this "CUSTOMER CARE" section of the QVC forum.

Although sometimes we get the "I've been a QVC customer for 35 years!" But still a new poster. We just never get the true facts in this type of post.
However, if this is really someone's first experience shopping with QVC, it's probably better that s(he) does go elsewhere.
I can only say that in somewhere around 35 years of shopping with them (here and in England), I have never found them underhanded or unethical. Quite the opposite.
Agree 100%.
As for first time complaining posters you'd think that since they were able to find us they'd come back & thank the posters that replied. Never happens. It's too bad because for most of us our first instinct is to offer help.
Something doesn't add up, whether they're bots, competition plants who knows.
@rockygems123 do you blame them?? Even an animal knows when they aren't welcome.

I don't believe it's up to YOU to "extend a welcome." Why can't people be kind? Does it cost you anything? No need to be nasty.

Hi, Sage. You know, I hardly ever come here anymore after being on this forum since it was originally called "Shop Talk" in the mid-90s. Now I remember why. Happy holidays to you.

QVC has been underhanded" and "unscrupulous" in the past sometimes with such disbelief, I couldn't understand why they were still in business.
I've had a few bouts with them, incidences that were definitely wrong on their part. I never experienced anything like it from any other retailer.
They appeared to be wising up recently showing more respect to customers since losing so much business.
However:
Let me ask you. How long have you been shopping with QVC? I've seen issues like yours before here. The bank approves, QVC doesn't. If you haven't established credit with QVC and want to use Easy Pay for a product that costs $300, they might turn you down. If you pay in full, then you owe the bank $300, not payments down the road when you might not have the money.
I suggest you buy some things, put them on Easy Pay, pay off every month to establish credit with QVC. If you can, pay some off early to show you can handle the cost of the payments.

@FranandZoe wrote:Are you sure that $60 was off the price of the mixer and not an "account credit" for future purchases? That was always how they advertised opening a new account.
What do you mean they won't honor the order?
@FranandZoe and I remember reading that about the Credit. Most people don't read the fine print. Someone here could have explain that to the OP but because he is a first time Poster, why bother?
I also read here at one time that sometimes they will announce that the Credit could be used for the purchase. I don't have a QCard so I don't know.

I agree.
Also, it's Christmas. Please let's not argue amongst ourselves over this. It's not that big of a deal & the person who posted hasn't even responded. Let's enjoy the day & each others company. 😊
