Re: QVC really needs to..............

I’ve noticed I can cancel orders within a fairly generous timeframe, I.e., order something at night but then cancel early next morning if I change my mind. I don’t do it often, but have been able to. Where I’ve noticed cancellation is impossible is for a waitlisted item changes to in process. Cancelling an item at that point is impossible. Like @Kachina624 said, you better want it when you place the order. If you’re on the fence just add it to your wish list.

Many companies do not allow you to cancel orders at all.

@Bri63

Right!

Use your head, order carefully and you won’t need to cancel.  If you are unsure about something, think about it a while. If it’s gone when you come back, oh well! You save some money.

I’ve always been surprised at QVC’s allowing people to cancel so freely. I’ve done some of it myself. If they shipped faster, people wouldn’t have a chance to cancel.

I never understand the threat to "close my account".  Why not just quit watching or shopping, if that's where you're at?

@MalteseMomma.   Of course QVC doesn't want you to cancel orders!  Not only do they lose business but its an inconvenience for the order fillers.  You're naive if you think they are a compassionate corporate giant.  They are not a social service agency.  They're in a cut-throat business to make money.  It's your responsibility to make sure you want the item as ordered before you pull the trigger and place the order.

@MalteseMomma.  You can call UPS and arrange for an alternate delivery date, although they won't hold it for an extended period of time.  You could tell them to return it to sender.

I don't think we are shopping at the same place. I doubt there are few Q customer's who cancel as many orders or return as much as I do, although I buy a lot too. I am notified via email that my return is on it's way and my account is credited PDQ. Granted I live close to where the packages are returned.

@MalteseMommaHaven't you made this same complaint in the past?  Seems to me I've read this before although I wouldn't swear it came from you.

If it did come from you, maybe you need to stop ordering at least until you know the company's policies so you won't get caught in one you don't like.

You do get to choose where you shop though.  Sounds as if HSN is better for you.  I'm not going there -  my last several purchases were fair to poor, so my money goes elsewhere.

Buyers remorse affects us all at one time or another.  It really stinks when you can't cancel what you thought you wanted, but anger is on you and only you.

The last time I tried to cancel a order and couldn't, I was issued a full refund when I returned it.

Best wishes that all your emergencies settle down soon.
