QVC pricing issues...

[ Edited ]

I'm hoping a moderator can help us all...

There has already been a thread started about this issue. The problem seems to be getting worse though.

Many items have been reverted back to their original QVC price AFTER they have been put on clearance, clearance sale, primetime/lunchtime special pricing.

THAT IS NOT NORMAL! There must be a glitch in the system somewhere. The issue has been worsening. I have been seeing more and more of these every day. Please pass the info on to the 'powers that be' in the IT dept.

Below are examples:

View the price history on all of them (a moderator can do this):

A556269

A516600

V40102

Many on the list above state in red text that the item is not eligible for returns or exchanges AND went back to the QVC price!!!

There is definitely a glitch somewhere...

QVC can't sell an item at full price and still not allow for returns/exchanges.

This is what I just added to the OP:

"Many on the list above state in red text that the item is not eligible for returns or exchanges AND went back to the QVC price!!!"

@Susan Louise  I agree with you. Why would prices go back to original prices and state not eligible for returns or exchanges. The D&C jeans I bought (A388166) was $17.99 with no returns or exchages, they are now $66. The IT department needs to check the program.

Hello eveyone! I'm so sorry for any confusion, but this is not a glitch. Many items will be converted from Clearance Pricing back to QVC pricing. Hope this helps!

Retail pricing changes constantly.  I get frequent notices from Amazon that items on my saved items have changed price.  It's the prerogative of the retailer.

@Wayne-QVC

Really?

This is what I added to the OP:

So Wayne, you are saying that from now on there will be many items sold on QVC for FULL price AND they are not allowed to be returned or exchanged?

It's my experience that many retailers do this, e.g., Macy's, Blair, Lands End, etc.  Prices fluctuate from day to day.  It doesn't make sense--if it doesn't sell at a lower price, why should it at the higher???  BUT another case of buyer beware.

Your point being that when the item returns to full price it should be able to be returned or exchanged???  Maybe a glitch, maybe not.
