Geez, it's all over the place - hard to find the commonality.

The issue still persists for me - everyone else? If it's improved for someone, can you share how it was fixed for you? I don't think this is anything we can solve for ourselves, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

Moderators, can you forward this to tech? Our complaints aren't likely to reach that level of internal support without your help.

Can anyone pinpoint when this started? That would probably help. Was it when Q updated the streaming app? (When it went from the menu on the right side of the screen to the menu on the left side of the screen.) I think that's when it happened, but I'm not certain. Maybe folks who record the shows can figure that one out.

It's terribly difficult to watch at night with the volume turned down so I don't disturb my husband. I'm only hearing every few words! Avid shopper here...want to continue to be. I've resorted to watching old movies late at night and stay up too late. My wallet thanks you though. Smiley Wink

Agree - why is this all of the sudden such poor quality QVC? You are losing customers cause we cannot stand to listen to portions of a hosts conversation. Whatever you upgraded, back the upgrade out - it didn't work.

As if the reduction in the quality and variety of goods isn't enough to get me to stop watching, when I do turn it on for the last MONTH the constant fading in and out of the sound is the final straw. QVC, instead of spending money on purchasing more companies causing a monopoly, how about you repair this month long issue!??

I see I'm not the only one experiencing sound problems. It seems like they have an audio system that tries to "auto-correct" the sound. I find that when the voice is a little louder the system adjusts for that & the following sounds are "softened" because the system is expecting more loud sounds OR ithe system is lagging behind & can't soften the sound as it is happening. Annoying, yes. I just don't watch any more. Easy Peasy.

I have DISH, and am having the same sound issues. So hard to listen to the sound being  loud then low. First post on this topic was almost 2 months ago. QVC customer care, please send this forum topic to someone who can fix this. Thank you!

Re: QVC Sound IssueP

[ Edited ]

I also started a thread here just prior to this thread about the very same audio issue.  I asked the mods to notify the tech department or whoever could fix the problem.  Sadly, not one Mod responded to my request.  At the very least, an acknowledgement would have been appreciated.

Same here. It's STILL an issue. Watching QVC 2 recorded David's Down Home Christmas and you like can only hear half of what he says. This seems to only happen with recorded rebroadcast shows on QVC 2. We had to stop watching, really annoying. Fix this QVC, you're losing money.....

I finally found my solution for the lack of sound on my QVC app on my iPad. ( I am an older lady with some vision issues).  Notice when the app first turns on, for the first THREE SECONDS there is an icon of a muted horn in the upper right of the presentation screen.   POOF it disappears before my arthritic hands can click on it! However, if I click on the spot where it WAS, it reappears and when I click on the muted horn, sound comes on, hurrah!
