Hi there. As of a day or so ago, cannot launch the QVC App for Roku without it freezing up and crashing the entire Roku. The app opens to a page where I can see the different tiles where I can launch QVC Live, Beauty IQ and QVC2 -- but I cannot select a channel because the entire app is frozen and unresponsive. Then after several seconds the Roku will reboot on it's own. This problem started happening a day or so ago, perhaps at the same time my Roku system updated to the latest version (automatically).

As an attempt to fix the issue, I deleted the channel, rebooted the Roku and then reinstalled the app. After reinstalling, I will be able to launch and use the app once, click on a stream --but the stream will eventually error out. Then, when trying to relaunch the app after the error will cause the freeze/reboot issue.

I also must mention that prior to this problem happening, I noticed that the quality of the streams were not very good -- very blurry and pixelated. The channel often error'ed out and crashed during streaming. Relaunching the app would suffice for a while, until it error'ed out again.

For now, I'm streaming from the QVC Live channel on YouTube, but I would prefer to use the app since it is much more convenient. I look forward to a fix.. Thanks!

@tlaurance I'm so sorry, but I will forward this information to our IT department to have this looked into and corrected. Thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Re: QVC App for Roku

[ Edited ]

I am now experiencing this same issue with the Q apps/page on my Roku--very frustrating! I've switched over to watching on my computer, and occasionally I still have issues with the stream just shutting itself off. (I have no issues with any other Roku apps or web streams, so this is definitely not a user or equipment problem.)

I would also like to note that ever since the Q2 channel/stream launched, picture quality and app stability across the board have suffered. In addition, the app landing page is very cluttered and unappealing; someone really needs to revisit the design to make it more user friendly and attractive. (I doubt the latter will happen, though, since the Q website has similarly poor design that has only gotten worse over the past year or so.)

Thank you Susan!

I tried again today, and it appears something has changed and there aren't as many tiles on screen like there were before. The app doesn't crash my Roku anymore, so thank you!

I will say that the stream quality still isn't optimal. It appears to fluctuate between 480p and 720p. For example, when watching beauty presentations, I really appreciate the ability to see if a product really smooths the skin, etc... and is difficult with current stream quality. I much prefer QVC to HSN -- I don't usually watch HSN's app but took a peek for comparison -- the HSN app is consistently so sharp and clear compared to QVC's. Hopefully your IT dept will be able to get it right someday soon. Thanks for all your hard work!

I enjoy watching QVC on my roku app. For the past several weeks there's been a line in red that says some of our customers may be experiencing problems, we appreciate your patience while we fix the app.  Three weeks is a long time to fix the app. I'm able to access qvc, beauty iq, qvc 2 and today's finds. But there used to be programs underneath such as Today with Jayne, Monday pm, and specialty shows such as denim & co, susan graver etc. What happened? Are those never coming back?

I am wondering the same thing!  I used to like to watch ITKWD and ITKWM in the evenings on the Roku app, and now they are gone.  The only options are the live broadcast and shopping information.  I liked the show replays!  Will they be back?
