I was hoping someone could answer my question or perhaps point me to QVC’s technical department. I watch QVC via Amazon Fire Stick. I rarely watch the shows live as they happen, but do enjoy watching the uploaded fashion shows. When they are in the “just added” category, I have no problem playing the videos. But when they move from “just added” to say “fashion” or “weekly shows”, the videos usually do not play. Or if they do play, they will buffer every couple minutes and another show’s title will be displayed during the buffering period. Usually it’s so frustrating, I just give up. There’s no problem with my internet speed, so that’s not it. Can anyone shed some light on why this occurs? Is there a problem in the way QVC is uploading the videos? Thanks.

@PugdogMom Your issue has nothing to do w/QVC.
Buffering is "sometimes" caused by not enough storage space, slow internet speed & many other things.

How do you know? Did you test it? What is your internet speed?
Go into your FS settings & check your storage. If low do the following.......
Delete/clear all cache.
You can delete "data" if you want. BE WARNED: that when you do, you may need to reset your "app" settings. FS will let you know w/a warning also.
Refresh/restart your FS after doing the above.
Post back the results.

@PugdogMom I would suggest you cut and paste your concern on the Electronics forum.

@Mz iMac Thank you for the suggestions - you seem very tech savvy. My xfinity internet says “download up to 200 mbps”, but when I tested it says around 78 mbps. I uninstalled several unused applications from the FS and cleared all the cache from each remaining app, then restarted. I have well over half the storage available. I tried the QVC videos again and they’re still buffering every couple minutes or stopping completely. The weird thing is all the QVC videos in the “just added” section always play just fine. It’s only after hey land in another section like “weekly shows” that I can’t play them correctly.

@Love my grandkids Thank you for pointing out the Electronics forum - i’ll try there. I don’t come here often and didn’t notice that forum. ![]()

@PugdogMom A few questions....
#1 - Are they QVC apps you are using? If so, I am assuming you also deleted/cleard the cache? Delete the data too.
#2 - If not apps you are using, how are you viewing QVC? Through another app?
"My xfinity internet says “download up to 200 mbps”, but when I tested it says around 78 mbps."
#3 - What is your upload speed? Your current speed is too slow to play "QVC videos" on a FS. Have you tested other videos to check buffering?
Either way, if you are not getting near the internet speed what you are paying for, you need to call and/or complain to Comcast. They owe you $$$. Time for you to negotiate your "internet" plan w/them.
Suggest you post on Amazon's FS forums if your issues are continuing after trying the suggestions here. Post in the section for whichever "generation" FS you have. The mods & "users" are very good at responding/helping out on troubleshooting FS issues. There is also a "troubleshooting stickie" of issues & suggestions to try out prior to posting.

@Mz iMac Yes, it’s the QVC app on the Fire Stick. I cleared the cache from that app and all the apps. Maybe I will try clearing the data and I will check out the FS forum you suggested. The upload speed for my internet was about 27 mbps when I checked. We never have any issues watching You Tube, Netflix, or anything else. I work from home now and never have vpn or Skype issues. It’s just the darn QVC app videos that have moved from “just added” to some other section. Thanks again for your help.

@PugdogMom You're welcome!
Move the QVC apps to "Your Apps & Channels" section.
You can also delete the apps & redownload them. It's possible the original apps got corrupted during the download.

I have been having this issue for about 3 weeks as well, so I’m not watching much QVC/HSN anymore…IT IS SO ANNOYING, I have re-rest and re-installed the app several times. And is still having this issue.

I have been having problems with my QVC and HSN App through my firestick as well. Luckily for me I have another option. I have Sling TV and QVC is available through them, so I have just been ignoring the QVC/HSN App in my bedroom.
In my living room. I have a ROKU TV and I have had no problems with the QVC/HSN App.
