[I am still oxox]

I know its the holidays but just curious what is the average time before an item ships. Thank you all

It seems to depend on the item and who is doing the shipping (QVC or a vendor). I've had items stay in "Preparing Your Order" status for one day, 3-4 days, over a week, and no time at all (i.e., the item went from "In Process" directly to "Shipped").

I think there are just too many factors involved for there to be a true "average time" for shipping of any item. Sorry, but I think QVC's usual stated timeline of 7-10 days from ordering to delivery is probably as close as you'll get, especially at this time of year.

I agree with @loriqvc .  I've had orders leave in two days and others take a week or more.

I really don't pay much attention to the order status anymore.  I've had orders say "preparing" for over a week and when it finally says "shipped" I get the item the very next day.  And I've actually had my order in my hand and the order status will still read "preparing your order".

Add to that the unreliable shipping times from the shipping companies right now, and I'm just grateful if I get an order at all.  And this applies for all orders, not just QVC.

I ordered two pair of glasses for my hubby and then I ordered a TSV a day after it was on special I wonder which will be here first

@I am still oxox   I have no idea of an average, but I do know each of my orders for the last few years has arrived before or on the day it was estimated to arrive when I placed the order.

Sometimes it takes a few days and it sits in prep.  I've seen that but not more than a few days then it goes...BUT.....I choose express shipping which costs more.

To me it's worth the extra money.  Now I don't have to baby sit an order.

I tell ya....I've ordered things from Australia that I got in one week.

Who knows.....

Yeah, Barbara from the Q, you sound like my husband.  He knows logistics and works in IT.  LOL...all true though....
