How do a answer a post and place my response directly in the original posters post box? Thanks

@Coquille

The only way I know to do that is to copy their post like I did yours,

hope that helps  Smiley Happy

            @Coquille,  To quote a post, after you've clicked/tapped the word "REPLY" on their post you then need to click/tap the word "QUOTE" displayed above the box in which you're typing your response.    That automatically copies their comment.   Then, you can add yours just below theirs.    Just my preference, but I think it's easier to read the post and it's also easier to distinguish the quoted words from the reply -- to more clearly see "who said what" --  when the reply is placed below the quote with a few blank lines separating the two.

           Can I add an "amen" to your lovely post, @dex?   I've learned so much from this community of ladies and gentlemen who peek in from behind anonymous nicknames and who are willing to bring their humanity and benevolence to us.   I've found so much inspiration and wisdom, and I've also received so much comfort, support, and solace in really dark times.   Very grateful.   They are the best, for sure, and you are one of them!

Just an FYI, I've noticed that the boards are very sluggish so that original posts and replies look like they aren't getting posted very quickly as the page doesn't move after hitting the post button. I've had to open a new page on the board to see if my posts got published.
