in the past few months, when tracking an order, I see a message that says: " Your package may be delayed.  We are adjusting delivery plans as quickly as possible."  So far, three such messages have resulted in my never receiving the package.

Anyone else annoyed?

I have had a few like that as well.  It seemed that during the height of Covid USPS was having a lot of problems but in the last year they improved a lot!  However, the last several weeks I have been having issues again.

I have sent 2 pieces of certified, return receipt request mail and neither one has been delivered.  When I check the tracking it says something like it's progressing thru our system.  Mailed on May 25 for a 20 mile trip.  Have never seen such a inept business in my life.  From now on if it has to get there I'll us FedEX or UPS.  It's time for the USPS to go bye bye.

I cannot say why I feel the Post Office is not running as it should but I definitely know it needs change and I will leave it at that.

I have seen that message on a few of my orders but always received them, just later than expected.

No problems here with the post office in fact the mail truck just went down the street. Have to go out to the mailbox and get my bills. Lucky me, just what I want.

@Magny  That message is authored by Newgistics, a postal contractor which writes all manner of imaginative things to cover their ineptness. Don't blame it on the USPS ; they don't know what's going on either.

@Magny  I could write a book or two on USPS ineptness.

If I had my way EVERYTHING would be delivered by UPS.

They are efficient and have basic elementary reading skills which most USPS carriers are apparently lacking.

I agree that it's time for USPS to go away and give way to services who blew them away a long time ago.
