I live where the temperature has been 110-114 all week, and I received a Philosophy shower gel duo order during this time. UPS delivers last in my neighborhood, so I got this order around 7:45pm.(Packages are filthy and battered at the end of the day. During Christmas UPS delivers at 9:00pm+) This gel duo spent the entire day in the back of an enclosed truck in extreme heat. The back of the truck gets well over 140 degrees. The gels were HOT. The shower get was starting to separate, and didn't smell right but I've kept them hoping they'll improve. This has happened before in our high heat. I'm wondering, but I suppose there's no solution other than not ordering during the very hot months. USPS delivers at more normal times in my area and I prefer their delivery service.

Hi @Desert Lily

Hopefully once the shower gels acclimate to room temperature they will be fine. If not, you are more than welcome to return them. Unfortunately I do not know a way around having them delivered in the summer heat!

Thanks for your reply, Barb. Too bad we can't turn down the outside heat ... LOL!

Just an idea. You can always have your packages delivered to a UPS store (assuming it is a UPS delivery) we also get our packages delivered last just like you and it’s over 110 here also. I have my packages delivered to the UPS store 5 minutes from home and they usually deliver between 10-11 am.  They notify you when it’s ready for pickup.
