If Sychrony Bank did something (can't figure out what), you need to talk to them.

@Yodamoose7733 This is common when something is canceled. It will fall off 5-7 days depending on the bank.

@Yodamoose7733 It's a common misconception that Synchrony is somehow tied to QVC. It is in fact a separate entity. No one at QVC will be able to help you. Synchrony is bascally just like any other credit card. QVC cannot fix a payment issue with them. If you have called Sychrony the number on the back of the card (not QVC since they cant help you with it-like literally cannot) and Synchrony has said they would fix it, then I would give it 3 days since that's how long it takes sometimes for digital vendors (banks-suppliers) to do the virtual handshake and the "pending" charge to drop off. If it's not off in 3 business days I would then contact Synchrony back. It might take longer don't know but most times it's 3 business days.

I constantly have this issue with the pending charge sitting against my charge card for DAYS after the actual charge has posted. It is basically using double the amount of my purchase charge and no one seems to care about it! It is holding my available credit HOSTAGE as I am unable to use those funds that are stuck as "pending charge" amounts for days, and sometimes at the end of my billing cycle other charges bounce against my cards because QVC never released the pending charges when the actual charge clears! I cannot even use the HOSTAGE FUNDS for OTHER VENDORS!
Just think...if it is large amount, for example $500, QVC holds my $500 pending for up to 10 days against me WHILE they HAVE MY payment cleared. That would be a total of $1,000 for a $500 amount! Granted, I do not charge large amounts such as that, but it is still my money being held HOSTAGE, whether it is $1, $100, or $500!
They used to give me the run around and tell me it was my cards and/or banks. The card/banks have told me it's not them because they load info as they receive it from vendors. If they do not get the info to remove pending charges they cannot remove them. They said it is the vendor!
I have called QVC customer service too many times to count to have these "HOSTAGE" pending charges cleared! They notify the department that handles this and eventually the double billed hostage "pending charge" is removed. Numerous times I have asked for a return call from QVC's 'secret' department that handles this process but have NEVER YET received a call from that 'secret' department.
I have gotten so fed up with this that I have even notified my state attorney general's office to have this practice investigated as well as my state senator in D.C. to investigate on a federal level through their banking & consumer areas.
How about contacting me sometime QVC about this ongoing issue which has yet to be resolved and your holding my $$$ HOSTAGE in "pending charges"❓❓. I certainly will not be holding my breath waiting to hear from the representative from this "secret' department that reverses double "HOSTAGE pending charges". Hopeless...

I am sorry you get frustrated but from what I read, maybe you are not understanding how the 'system' works.
ALL vendors put a temp hold. Gas stations, 7-11, McD ....almost anyone who you are trying to charge with. Anywhere from $1 to the actual cost of the upcoming purchase.
They need to be sure you have the credit to purchase. No one is holding anything hostage.
Contacting the vendor will do you NO good unfortunately. Trust us all when we all say it IS the bank/financial institution.
QVC has absolutely no control. Barking at CS will not help.
It has been an accepted, common place transaction for years and years.
Only the banking institution, not the vendor, can control when it drops off.
If you are running tight on your cards, I would think carefully about the purchase maybe. Especially trying to cancel it.

Call QVC customer service 1-800-367-9444 and press #0 in menu. Tell them you have a pending charge & THEY MUST notify the appropriate department to have it reversed immediately. Make sure you take screenshots of everything so you have evidence. And tell them you are notifying your state attorney generals office to file a consumer complaint if it is not removed immediately.
This issue has been going on for years with me, always having to call to get pending charges removed. Why they have not rectified it by now or other people have not complained or made remarks over time here on the forums I do not know.🤷🤔
