I placed an order , only night at this price etc etc but no free shipping.  2 days later free shipping and same sale price.  QVC won't match their own free shipping in less then 72 hours?   What's up with that?

@Heidi990.  What's  up is perfectly clear to me.  What don't you understand?  Free shipping today from midnight to 11:59pm.

Nobody knows ahead of time when this is coming.

They only do credit adjustments for pricing on an item. I think that is the policy with most retailers.

Someone is going nuts on the QVC facebook page about this, what is so hard to get it is a free shipping DAY.

Makes me wonder if this is the only retailer people shop online. I'm thankful whenever any retailer offers a free shipping day without a minimum purchase amount. And I do believe them when they say it's a one day promotion.

I, too, am not happy about having to pay $5.50 for shipping. I haven't even received what I ordered and now it is the same price but free shipping. I feel cheated that they can't make an adjustment after being a customer since the very beginning of QVC. Free shipping is great for those who are just ordering, but not so much for people who ordered only to find themselves paying more for the same product.

Do you expect QVC to go back and refund all shippimg to everyone who bought something 2 days ago? Three days ago? A week ago? When would it end? Just because you make an effort to ask? Sounds unreasonable to expect that.

I've seen a "special coming Saturday" or something like that during their ads, between programs this week and so I waited, figuring it may be a free shipping day.  It was items that I didn't think would sell out.  If I need a special color, or my size, I just order, no guarantee your size/color won't be gone.  Most of their free shipping days so seem to be on a Sat or Sunday.

Most (not all) of my purchases here have been on the free shipping days.  They have had a day most months.  Lots of other places to shop with regular free shipping.

The point of a free shipping day is to drive additional sales on that day, not to go back and refund previous shipping.  No retailer does that.

I found it interesting that you quoted QVC as saying "free shipping in less than 72 hours."  I too inquired about getting a credit for an order placed previously but I didn't qualify, and that's fine.  I get it.  It doesn't hurt to ask.  Some businesses will give you the credit as a courtesy if you ask.

What is interesting is that I called and emailed about this.  On the phone a CSR said the purchase would have to have been "within 24 hours" and via email I got a reply that said "within 2 days," which would be 48 hours.  I don't think anyone there even knows what the policy is and it depends on who you talk to.  It appears to be the luck of the draw depending on who you talk to and some folks might be getting credits while others are told they are not eligible.   No consistent information.
