Need assistance with a return

Last week, I ordered a Crosley stereo CD system for my granddaughter

Upon opening, we found the CD turntable loose in the box. Needless to say, she was very disappointed. When something is this defective, I just don't think I should have to pay to return ship.  Please direct me. Thank you

When something is defective you return it as usual - just mark on the return slip that it's defective.  I would also include a separate note saying that you should be refunded your original shipping and not be charged for return shipping.  And if you send an email to Easy Returns include the same information.  QVC always refunds original shipping and doesn't charge you to return when something is defective.  You just have to point it out.

@waterlily - I also always take photos, when I receive something that's damaged or defective, just as "evidence".  That way there's no question about it.

 

You won't be charged return or original shipping, if the item is defective, but I always check after my return is processed to make sure there was no mistake made by the returns department.  (It happens!)

Very simple. Call CS ask to speak w CS regarding teturns. Explain its defective and CS will mark your account to FULLY refund you. Double check your refund when processed.

Sometimes they make mistakes.

@waterlily.  The QVC website has explicit instructions on making returns.  Have you read them?  They're under Customer Service.

 

You are not expected to pay to return defective items.  Use the return label that came with your item.  Mark it defective.  When you get your refund, check it carefully to be sure you weren't charged.  Contact CS if you were, or for other questions

You don't have to pay for returns that are defective.
