MODS: QVC2 live stream - input testing message

[ Edited ]

The QVC2 live stream currently features this scrolling message:

"THIS IS QVC2 ON AKAMAI TO TEST INPUT...."

Moderators, do you have any idea how long this will continue? It is very distracting.

(Note: This message is only on the QVC2 live stream on the website; it does not appear on the main channel's live stream.)

I have Direct TV and its not on my Q2.  It could be your provider.

This message has been scrolling on my computer system for hours on Q2 using live stream, not using cable.  If this is an internal testing system, keep it internal and off the screens for the public to endure!

@ScarletDove

I googled "akamai" and found the website. It is akamaidotcom. It is described as a "content delivery network". QVC testing a new software delivery system?

@Cal22  I did the same and found the same info... If indeed QVC is doing IT testing, it needs to do it internally, not for the public to have to see!
