@IVYgirl I couldn't find any information on how the fish bakers ship but I did find a video on YouTube of a woman unboxing items she purchased directly from a Le Creuset store.

One of her bakers came in a plain brown box so perhaps they do sell certain items this way. 🤷

Re: LE CREUSET ORANGE BOX

[ Edited ]

@IVYgirl    This is interesting. All QVC Le Creuset items I have ordered came in the orange box with  a instruction and recipe booklet. I really needed that when I bought my first piece. It us VERY essential to learn how to use and care for them. I have ordered three from Q as TSVs

I ordered a Le Creuset Dutch Oven to complete my set from an Ebay seller this Fall! It was alot cheaper and had a dark interior which I find easier to maintain and I do  like. I believe an older style? It came in a  plain brown cardboard box WITHOUT any instructions. I was completely satisfied, as so much cheaper and labeled as usual. That was fine to come in a plain box not really expecting an original box. Totally different seller situation!

If meaningful to you I think you have every right to send it back as defective. What if it was a gift? I am sorry for your disappointment and CS frustration.

@IVYgirl - I think you should email the Social Team and explain what's happened.

No care guide booklet?  Plain brown box?  I agree with someone else that it sounds like you got someone else's return and, if you didn't purchase it from the "As Is" section, you deserve a brand new item.  Especially at Le Creuset prices!

They're very good at resolving things.  Don't accept second best or, at the very least, an explanation!  And you shouldn't have to spend money on boxes.
