I ordered an article on the 11th.....surprise.....it's still in processing.  It does say that this will be delivered by the 23rd, but I sincerely doubt it.  How can it be delivered when it sits in no where land in processing?  I'm just frustrated as this was a Xmas gift for my niece.

Starting in October the news was constantly reporting that due to people shopping online due to the pandemic, shippers would be (and ARE) overloaded.

You really didn't give much of a lead time to get a gift in time for Christmas, not during these times. But who knows, it might show up.

That's only six days.  Most sites warn there are delays in shipping.  Dn't know what you were expecting at this point in the season.  If it's something they said would arrive by the 23rd, then you still have plenty of time.

Yes, I know I didn't give much lead time.  However, I also ordered another gift to another niece on the same day and that one was delivered the 15th!!  I realize these are trying times and really this situation is "small potatoes."  I was just frustrated because these girls are sisters.....so one girl has her gift and another might not get hers until after the holiday....but it's all good, I guess.

Forgive me for sounding uncaring when the world is in such chaos.

You could do what another poster suggested, text or email pic of the item & say it's on the way.

Everyone is frustrated about something right now.  I don't think you necessarily are uncaring, but you have a right to vent your frustrations too. 😉

@SisterSisto  please let us know when it is received because you could be surprised. And no, you aren't been uncaring. I know it's frustrating because you're hoping that the gift would be received on time and it's still possible. A lot of the folks here could tell you that sometime could say "in process" but it's on it's way to you. Something I ordered recently said delivery will be around the 22nd or 24th can't remember which one, but it will be delivered tomorrow the 18th.

@SisterSisto,  first, don't give up hope.  There is often a lag between the actual status of a shipment and what information is available on Q.

If the worst does happen I suggest doing what another poster suggested and present a picture of the item but do that for both girls.  Just because you have one present in hand does not mean you can't hold it back until both presents can be given.

Maybe even start a new tradition and save them for Happy New Year presents.

What is good for the goose today will also be good for the gander tomorrow.

Well, here it is the 20th and this order is still in process.  I took your advice and emailed the QVC social team and received immediate response.  She stated that she contacted the company (several days ago) and they were aware of the order and it would be processed soon.  Hmmmmmm.

What irritates me is that I'm unable to cancel the order because it's in process.  It's like no where land.  Oh well, I will contact my neice and let her know that sometime before her old age comes on her, she might receive it!  Now, I just want to see how long it takes for this to resolve.

I guess I'm done ordering from QVC for awhile and I'll stick with Amazon. I've never been disappointed when I've ordered from them.
