HELP GET MY PACKAGE MOVING PLEASE!!

Can someone please help me to get my item shipped. I ordered a hoverboard on Dec 8th it says it shipped on the 9th but after contacting customer service and UPS I am told that QVC has only created the label but hasn't contacted UP to pick it up. This is a Christmas gift for my grandson. Can someone please help me with this.

Re: HELP GET MY PACKAGE MOVING PLEASE!!

I'm so sorry for you.  My suggestion is to try to find one locally or at Amazon.  I would bet the Q has no clue where it is and won't be overnighting a new one to you.

Hi @Brenadean  and welcome to our Forums.  I checked on your order and unfortunately the Hoverboard is no longer available so I am unable to send a replacement. I have issued a refund to your original pay method. Should you receive your original shipment, please contact Customer Service. Thank you.

@Brenadean    omg !  I know that is going to be bad news for you !  Just like I always say - for Christmas gifts, don't order anything after mid November  from QVC or it's likely it won't show up in time for Christmas.  QVC should be ashamed that they strung you along for so long !!  Good luck with finding a replacement gift for your grandson.

Re: HELP GET MY PACKAGE MOVING PLEASE!!

I'm sorry this happened to you, I hope you can find one locally or another gift he will like.  But there is a lesson to be learned here although I expect we'll be reading stories like this next Christmas.  12/8 is MUCH to late to order a must have Christmas gift.  It's too risky because anything can happen and there's no wiggle room when it comes to time.  If you had ordered it on 11/8, there would have been time for an alternate plan.  It's not just QVC, it's true of all online retailers.  It's their busiest time of the year so we have to order early.

Oh my goodness, I am praying for some odd reason that it will show up on my door step and if it does, I will definitely contact QVC. I'm heart broken

@Brenadean :  I'm so sorry your hoverboard is lost; QVC really needs to get their hands around this mess!  In your case they should give you a gift card for "blowing this big time!

Oh @Brenadean  I hope it shows up too. Such a shame.

@Brenadean   I'd be willing to 'bet the farm'  that you'll never see a hoverboard arrive at your house from QVC .  If I were you, I'd be on a search for one from somewhere else, like Amazon, and if by some chance one did arrive from QVC, you can just return it....Lesson learned .

Re: HELP GET MY PACKAGE MOVING PLEASE!!

I've never understood the comment hosts make about '''guaranteed to arrive before Christmas''.....so what does that really mean?   If it doesn't show up, they will give you the $ back ?    In that case, you've still busted someone's Christmas  if it doesn't show up.  What is involved in that '''''GUARANTEE'''''?  And how can they make such a guarantee anyway?  What if it gets lost in the mail?
