i have been shopping with QVC since 1990. I am seriously considering cancelling my QVC card and my membership. Customer service and convenience are no longer the norm. I feel that QVC misrepresents order status and ability to cancel orders.
A few weeks ago I ordered a shampoo set and tried to cancel it. I was told an attempt would be made to cancel my order but it was being shipped by the seller so no guarantees. Several days later it was shipped from the QVC shipping site. How is that possible if the seller was shipping it?
On Friday, March 16, I ordered the Aran Craft cowl neck sweater. A few hours later I saw that the price was reduced by $50 as a one day only price (still March 16). I tried to cancel the first order so that I could reorder and save $50. Well, I was unable to cancel - getting ready to ship - however it still hasn't shipped. I placed a second order at the reduced price and will return the first order. This could have been avoided if the one day only price started at midnight or if my original order could have been cancelled. (I understand that an order can't be cancelled if it is indeed in the process of being shipped but seriously, if it's in the process of being shipped it shouldn't take 4 or 5 days to actually ship). I wonder how much money QVC makes on returns when the buyer has to pay the original shipping.

I would have called customer service for a price adjustment on the sweater. They would have done it (they've adjusted the price for me several times) and you wouldn'tt have to go through the bother of trying to cancel & return.

You should of called customer service that day and they would of done a price adjustement and credited you back the difference. I have purchased items and then find them on clearance. If it is under 30 days they always credit me back the difference.

Call customer service, tell them what happened and have them take care of the original S&H and return on the first sweater. I can't believe the Q doesn't make all kinds of money on returns.

I'm pretty sure when an item ships from a vendor, it doesn't show the vendors info anywhere on the package or paperwork. I.e. I looks like it shipped from the Q.

I've received stuff from the vendor that had their markings and invoice on it.

"In process" does not necessarily mean in the process of being shipped. Once an order is received it is technically "in process" and that may include entering the order, obtaining credit authorization, forwarding to the vendor and who knows what else.
Even when the your order has shipped notification is sent out it is only an indication that the carrier has been advised of the order and a tracking number assigned. It can still take a day or two before the item is actually in the hands of the carrier.

I have placed an order and for whatever reason, tried to cancel even a few minutes later been UNABLE to cancel. Even called CS. They told me no to cancelling the order. And then it sites "in process" for days. Gets me very upset. And this has happenend more than once.
Lesson...Be very careful before you press that order button.....no going back.

This has also happened to me where I tried to cancel and it said it was in the process of shipping and didn't ship out for sometimes four or five days. I recently had an order with multiple items and I was going to cancel a couple of the item. As soon as I cancelled one of the items, all of a sudden, the rest were in the process of shipping. And the one I cancelled ended up shipping! Very shady IMO. I've also been having problems with not getting my returns credited right away which looks like that's a common problem as well. Been waiting a week on one and almost a week on another. Really frustrating.
