Fed Up With QVC Shipping Practices

I am sick and tired of QVC sending my packages to the post office for delivery.  I have been waiting for a certian item and when checking the tracking option the item should have been delivered to my house TODAY!  But....oh no......now it's been sent to the post office for delivery.  Well that will take another two days for that system to get its act together to get my package delivered to me.  I will be lucky if I get it by Saturday.

I suppose with their so called $5 shipping that entitles QVC to send my package second rate and have it delivered by the post office!  I have never dealt with a company that takes as long as QVC does to get an item shipped and received by the customer.  It sits there for days saying "in process" and then you can't even cancel the item if you wanted to!

Re: Fed Up With QVC Shipping Practices

If QVC is the only shipper with whom you've experienced the UPS/USPS connection, you've been extremely lucky.  Most retailers, even Amazon.com, is using the same shipping process.  That's just the way things are done at this time.  If you don't like it, there's always the mall.

@Kachina624  The mall.  The thought of that makes me willing to go through whatever to have something delivered, lol.

Re: Fed Up With QVC Shipping Practices

Sorry but QVC definitely has the worst shipping I've experienced.  That incudes Amazon, Talbots, Macys, etc.  Its really not between QVC or brick and mortar stores.  I dropped off a pkg for an exchange on 02/09/18. In almost 2 weeks it has basically made it to what I could have driven in about 5 hours.  Here's the progress:

I've started ordering Clinique cosmetics online.   I know what products I want, so it's basically re-ordering what I used to buy at the mall.    They always send a sample, it's free shipping and they have good discounts.  I placed an order Friday and UPS delivered it in my hand Monday afternoon. (Monday was a holiday)

No, it's not QVC or the mall.

QVC needs to get their act together.

If they are such a huge retailer, they should have some juice when it comes to shipping.

Or maybe some young entrepreneur needs to start a 4th delivery service.

@Peridot

You can sign up for UPS My Choice, you will get an e mail with UPS tracking numbers and be given the option to upgrade your package to direct UPS delivery

Signing up for UPS My Choice does not make shipping faster.  I don't have a problem with the tracking, its the time it takes to get anywhere.

@software  When I order Clinique from Macy's, it is here within a few days.  Of course, zulily takes longer.
