I feel so foolish asking this.  I just received the Dyson cordless vacuum and I can't get it out of the Dyson box!  It is sealed in such a way that everything is glued down and even using a box cutter isn't working for me.  Is there a trick to doing this?  If you must be snarky in the answers I understand.

Update:  I finally got it open.  Had to tear the box apart.  It looks like it has been used.  Maybe it was a return?  There is dust around the rubber seal of the bin and some of the attachments.  There are also some scuff marks on the along with dust on the screw tool.

Did you check for any of those zip lock cable ties holding pieces in place?  I don't have a Dyson vacuum but I have a Dyson air straight dryer and it had several.  I ended up ripping the box.  Same thing happened with an air conditioner I bought here.  It was impossible to get out of the box, so my husband ripped it open.  We ended up returning it and used a plain box packed well and had no issues returning it.  Good luck

No reason for anyone to get snarky, they do make things hard to get into. I am no help though maybe just have to cut the box away from the vacuum.

Don't feel foolish about asking! It took my DH and I to get the machine unpacked! Using a box-cutter and shears!!! I decided it it was sent back it would be packed in a box filled with air bags and peanuts!

That's exactly how we sent the air conditioner back to QVC in a completely different box!  😹
