Desperately Seeking Customer Service Team Help

Having gotten nowhere with chat or phone CS I am hoping that someone reading here will be able to help.  In a nutshell, I ordered a product and instead on 06 Nov received another custy's order.  As advised by chat that same day, I returned that item to qvc and my acct was "annotated" so that I would receive the correct item in a second shipment.  As of today I was informed in another chat that no annotations were on my acct to send the correct item.  I requested a refund.  Chat and thereafter phone CS told me that  they can only refund the original installment to original payment method even tho I informed them that acct is closed.  Phone chat suggested I keep chasing my old bank to work this out.  Considering this all started because qvc failed to deliver one simple item as ordered, I gotta say I am pretty livid that now it is all MY problem to resolve.  Anything you guys could do to help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks in advance!
