Re: Credit Card Fraud Question..

Interesting...I just got a pop-up that the site is not secure and to not enter any personal info. The normal lock next to the domain name is now an exclamation point. Can someone tell me if they are seeing the same thing??

Re: Credit Card Fraud Question..

@Treed561  I would request a new card letting the credit card company that you have had unauthorized attempts on your card.

I don't know of any credit card company that wouldn't issue you a new card.

I would also change your account log in, password etc. on the Q site.

Starting fresh is the easiest way to get a good nights sleep and know there isn't any suspicious activity of any kind.

All I have been reading is that the Q is having technical issues, why wait for them, take a proactive approach and keep yourself safe, never wait for them.

@Mistreatedbycs...yes, I have done all of that but I'm still not adding a new card until I know  how this happened!

@Treed561 I wrote to Customer Care here on the forums this morning, not a word, now I am wondering if they even saw my message?

Have you scanned your computer for viruses and keyloggers?

Re: Credit Card Fraud Question..

Wow, this is really making me nervous.  I went on and also changed my password after reading the blogs on here during the last week or so.  I think if this happened to me with the fraud attempts I would cancel my account altogether!

So you actually had your old card disenabled?

I don't see a problem if you actually changed your log in, your password and added the new card, you should be good to go.

..and you won't know how all this happened and it's not worth agonizing over it.   If you don't feel comfortable, get rid of the Q card all together and close down your account.   In a month, reopen everything new, you actually can live without a Q purchase for a month, I'm going on 4 months.

Re: Credit Card Fraud Question..

The OP said she went to the ATM to make a deposit and couldn't, so it seem as if it's a Bank Card. The Bank of course would deactivate the card because of fraudulent activities and would then issue her a new Card.

I am surprised the Bank didn't notify the customer. I have had this happen to me and was notified by my Bank and received a new card in a few days. Once the card is deactivated, it can no longer be used.
