I learned that Chase now has their own installment plan, with a monthly fee. It's called Pay Over Time. That's probably why they don't want customers paying the other third party plans with their cards.
I don't understand why Posters keep saying this. Just wait and see. I gave up my Chase Credit Card and other Credit Cards years ago. Now I only use my Debit Cards and I'm so happy.
@rms1954@pigletsmom -- Easy Pay is a QVC benefit, not the banks. QVC is responsible for charging your credit card each month. They don't charge the full price and expect the credit card company to be responsible for dividing it up each month. That would be crazy. And, of course the banks wouldn't do it.
They don't rely on the banks dividing , qvc just bills the easy pay every month qvc puts a hold on the original amt, then they charge just the easy pay at. The bank has no idea that qvc even does easy pay.if your easy pay fails, qvc demands the full amount left. My guess is there wasn't enough money on card to move forward
hmmm i never knew this i have had chase for almost 20 yrs... well i guess we shall see in oct.. i bought things that i will still be paying off in oct..
Capitol One started that last year. I think these banks are very threatened by these no interest options, and want to diss people from using them. Hopefully it’s just credit cards, not debit cards, which is what I generally use anyway.
