Placed an order on January 8 and it's still on backorder. Is this normal? Is it really ever going to arrive?  I'm so irritated! I waited and waited for these to go on sale. They finally did. I ordered two and now crickets. So typical!

If it is on backorder they state order will remain open for 45 days and if they get more stock you will get your item.  If it is in process it should have shipped long ago.  I have had back orders over the years and it is never certain what will happen.  I have received my item, and I have had orders cancelled.

@Me773 I hear you. Years ago I got put on wait list and it took over 40 days for them to get the item in stock. I was surprised that I actually got it, so there's still hope.

  Yea, had some backordered  items at a sale price be cancelled by QVC, then  magically the items  came back in stock at higher price

Wait List and Backorder are NOT the same thing.

Wait list is the 45 day deal...(if more stock etc)

I have always rec'd backorders.

I was told waitlist items are 45 days before being cancelled and backorders are three weeks. I try not to do waitlist products.
