@loriqvc, I just recently had a CIJ Advance Order food item that was on Waitlist canceled. Of course, it is available to purchase at full price.
Why do I still shop here?

@kaydee50, there's times when it benefits to buy directly from the vendor, but I've found the majority of the time the deals offered by QVC are better.
For example, two dozen Just Bagels on their website is $45, while at QVC it's $40. Both have free shipping. But that's not true for all vendors.
One vendor I deal with had an item on sale for $69 plus $10 shipping. QVC had the same item on sale for $59 with free shipping. $20 savings going through QVC.

@loriqvc - I've received a notice of cancellation in the past, but they don't seem to bother now.
However, my other orders that were canceled with no notice were not waitlist orders - they were orders for items that were in stock, when I placed the orders. I've had more than one A/D canceled without notice - one before the first shipment was even sent out!
If QVC is going to cancel, for whatever reason, the least they can do is notify the customer.

@Etoile308 - I had that happen in the past with the Authentic Gourmet croissants. Couldn't fulfill my A/D, but actually said in the email that, if I still wanted the product, I was able to buy the exact same product for a higher price. (No, thank you.)
Also with at least one Philosophy A/D. Same deal - they couldn't fulfill the A/D, but I could reorder at a higher price. (Again, no, thank you.)

@loriqvc I receive emails for waitlist items canceled. I received one for a John Legend beauty item over the summer and last week I received one for a JAI bracelet.

Unfortunately, it looks like we didn't have the inventory to fulfill the order at the time, so it ended up getting placed on a Backorder status. With these, we make every effort to fulfill your order. If we are unable to do so within 2 to 3 weeks, your order is canceled and a letter is sent out to notify you.
As a small token of our apology, we have issued a 5.00 credit for immediate use on your next purchase with us. We hope you can give us another chance to get your orders shipped out in a timely manner.

@SarrahQVC - Thank you. That clears up the mystery of why a $5.00 credit suddenly appeared on my account earlier tonight.

did get email regarding bagels being delayed , I canceled, but they still shipped even though when canceled I got a confirmation email.
Had a Backorder on AD then it was canceled weeks later and received email saying AD was done ! Never got the last shipment either.
they need to inform more and explain I feel .
