Another Canceled Order - No Notification

I was just ordering some Just Bagels on offer today and suddenly wondered what has happened to a previous waitlist order of Focaccia Parmesan Bagels placed mid-July.

 

Had a look at my account and guess what?  Canceled on 08/21 without a word of notice by QVC!  And this is not the first time an order of mine has been canceled without any notice.  (Please note, I check my spam folder every single day, so it didn't go in there!)

 

They manage to send me endless emails about items that aren't in stock, or that have dropped in price, but haven't, but they can't tell me, if they've canceled an order?  What a mess.

 

And I had only recently started ordering directly from Just Bagels to get an email saying they will only sell 15 of their most popular bagels from now on - of which I only like about two of them and which leaves out the special flavors QVC gets.  Can't win for trying sometimes!  Smiley Mad

Order cancelations are probably the most important email they could possibly send, yet, nada.

Any wonder why they're not retaining customers? At what point do you get so frustrated, aggravated that you just walk away?

And here's a laugh - they just sent me a customer survey!  Can you guess that I filled it out?  Woman Very Happy

 

They even offered me the opportunity to do a 1 to 1 interview via webcam, but I don't have one on my computer, so I declined, but I think I told them everything they need to know!

I placed an order with Jimmy the Baker back in June. It was placed on Waitlist and then they cancelled. Offered again to me in July and again on Waitlist.  Any day now it will be cancelled. Does Jimmy bake anymore.....I tried to Chat and that isn't working.

@doolie  Can't you just order directly from their website?  I truly do not understand why go through QVC if the vendor has their own website?  Is there something special QVC sells that the vendor doesn't???

@kaydee50 - Sometimes it's exactly that - the vendor offers different items from what is on their own website.  Things that are made especially for QVC.

 

For instance, the raspberry bagels I just ordered.  They're not offered on their own website and the price is lower than Just Bagels own website would be for 24 bagels.

My experience has been the Jimmy is very disorganized or a poor planner.  He often disappoints with non-shipments.

@Venezia - I don't believe I have ever received a cancellation notice for an item on waitlist. They clearly state the date by which the order will either be fulfilled or cancelled in the original order email; I think that's the only communication you receive unless they think they can obtain inventory with an extension to the waitlist period (I did get an email about that once and was pleasantly surprised that it led to order fulfillment).

@doolie - Perhaps the issue is just with the specific Jimmy the Baker item you're trying to order? I placed an order for the apple and peach rolls last Friday and they shipped today, right on schedule, and will be delivered on Friday. So just in case it helps (not trying to rub it in, I promise!), they aren't just ignoring or cancelling all orders.
