Not sure who you mean by old timers. I used to be DianaFran. Then I was RainCityGirl, but when the whole board changed a while back, I tried to use RCG and I was told that name was already taken.....yes, by me. Anyway, I couldn't get on with that name any longer, so I changed it to RainyDayGirl. I've been here on and off for a very long time, back when there used to be a thread called World News and Views.

Yes, she is still here, but doesn't post often from what I can tell.

You'll get the hang of so hang in there. Plenty of us around to help you thru it.

You have to hit the quote at the top after you hit reply. Then it will connect the posts.

I think I got it! thanks,Preds, and everyone else who chimed in, I am really happy to see so many old timers.....and none of you are old,lol...it is beginning to come back why I left, like having to sign in every single time I want to post,lol...oh well., it is what it is.....anyone recall the thread on sayings that annoy people, it is what it is was one of them...

Whatever happened to Allegra, Sapphire Girl, Trapshooter, Cherry, and that woman in Arizona where her husband was a cop and got shot? I can't remember her nic. There are so many more who have also left.

        Hi, @Jannabelle! I'm still here. I've been posting since 2010 with the same nickname.   Great to see you!

        If you want to find your last posts, just sign in and then click on your name at the upper right of the page. (Or click on your name on any of your posts, within a thread.) That takes you to what used to be called "My Activity."

        @Preds answered your questions about replies and quotes, but I wanted to add to find other posters, you can:

1.   Type their nickname in the search box at the top of the page. (A list of "suggestions" will pop up, but ignore those or click "turn off suggestions" st the bottom of the list. Those are thread suggestions rather than users.)

2.   Click the word "Community" to the right of the search box, and choose "Users." That makes the system search for user names instead of threads.

3.   Click the red box "GO" and you'll get one or more nicknames matching your search.

4.   Click on the name of the user, and you'll see their posts.
