@dooBdoo Had to give you a heart, particularly for your use of "consternation".

           Hi, @catchersmom!   I'm a word fan, too!    When I was a kid I kept a notebook of new words and their definitions.    Carried a small dictionary around with me in college.   Such a word nerd, that's me.🙃

What happens IMO is there is not many replies on that forum, so they post it on another forum. I would just change the wording, then it's not a duplicate.

            To avoid that, @missy1, you always have the option of using the "Report" feature on your own original post.

            The OP (or anyone else) can use the report feature to flag the moderator on duty and in the dialogue box ask them to move the thread to the different sub-forum.

            Otherwise, the moderators usually end up deleting duplicates and we lose the comments posters have taken time to add to a thread.

@x Hedge,

By cross do you mean "mean posts"?

I don't see an over abundance of nasty posts on the boards because the Mods keep a pretty tight rein on things. I guess there is a concern for Christmas Day and people posting swearing and vulgarity on the boards. Isn't that sad? Do those people wait 364 days waiting to "strike" ? Pathetic.

Lately posters have been posting in a couple of forums at the same time, not what you describe.

Either way it's against policy (and annoying)

I think there is a computer glitch somewhere.  I just answered a thread in the kitchen forum, but when I went to the community thread, it appeared there.   Don't know what's going on.

The thread is still on the kitchen forum, but it continues here now.
