I'm not a sucker but I am human.  I can pass by lots of people on the street (and do each week), but every once in a while, for whatever reason - if there is a dog with that person (or God forbid a baby) etc., I feel compelled to give some cash, so I do.

 

I have heard and read that those on the street with pets will always give what food and resources they have to their pet before they themselves eat anything.  I tend to believe that is true.
