Yes, it is interesting. It could be a ploy on his part to be moved to a nicer prison. I'd say no, he deserves no consideration.

I have read though that at his previous prison he was very much at the top of the food chain though. He is a very big guy among a lot of prisoners that aren't much taller than 5'4"". Of course height doesn't determine how tough one is but it also doesn't hurt in regards to intimidation. It sounds like there was more than one attacker though.

The ONLY reason I'm glad he didn't die is so Beth Hollaway-Twitty (or whatever her last name is now) can have her day in court with him once his current sentence is served. And then his sorry butt can go back to jail again!
