The company I keep are my husband, family, and 2 close friends I know for 40 years. Id say Im in good company. And I don't judge people by the company they keep. I judge them by themselves and how they act.

Same here.....while I do feel people most often gravitate towards those of like-mind it does not mean they are the same right to the core....at the end of the day we are only accountable for our own actions not the actions of others...so if one dog has fleas it doesn't mean all dogs have fleas.

If this is true, then to paraphrase Winston Churchill: I am a riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma.

Probably true. I think if we have friends, we would probably have no reason to have them as a friend other than that we had something in common.

Politically not so much, I have friends with all different political viewpoints but core values usually make me gravitate towards someone that is similar.

C'mon - everyone knows you are known and defined by the bag you carry and the watch you wear. Which one of you QVC watchers does not know that?

Exactly. Doesn't matter who you hang with as long as you look good and ""wear"" the right bag.

You might spend time with people who are very different from you, but I think you gravitate towards those you have more in common with and end up spending more time with them.

We are creatures of comfort, after all.
