@SeaMaiden , you’re absolutely right. Here in PA we tend to see fewer cases from May to mid-Sept because folks spend more time outside. Then we get used to not worrying about it and think it’s over. Fall comes and folks start getting sick again. It’s been like this since 2020.

My son who works in Critical Care reminded me of this exact point earlier today. He told me Covid is everywhere. I asked, Is it an insurgence?  His response: No, it’s just everywhere.

And I realized I was guilty of getting lax and thinking it was going away.

Oh dear...that's awful....I wonder how many more will. 

I suspect quite a few.  I was surprised that no one wore masks.  But Paxlovid is a game changer.  There's also another anti viral treatment for Covid.
