Queen Margrethe of Denmark age 81.  She has been on the throne for 50 years.  Here she is:

She as a fascinating history.  When she was born only males could inherit the throne and after three daughters they had to change the rules when it was clear there would be no more children.  Her husband Henry wanted to be called King and not a Prince.  It was an issue for him most of his life.  I am glad they did not change that rule.  Queen Margrethe's youngest sister was the last Queen of Greece.  King Constantine I noticed was not at the funeral due to ill health himself.

There are a number of queens.  I believe Spain has a queen, Jordan does, and there are others.

Unfortunately, she has tested positive for COVID after attending Queen Elizabeth's funeral.

I am not positive but I think Queen Margarthe is the only Queen left who inherited the throne.  The rest are Queen Consorts.  

That is too bad about the Covid she as been and still is a very heavy smoker.

Hopefully it will be a mild case like the one she had earlier this year.

I really question people gathering in large groups like they are doing now with no  masking..... like covid is over....NOT.
