The dog is no longer with her. That was a good move. She needs to keep moving in the same direction. Upwards. And away from her father.

Wow....that was some sad and strange reading.
There is no money in the world that would make me stay there. The minute someone took my pet to the highway, I'd be gone. I find it strange, she says she has to stay because her mother would have wanted that, but even her mother left him.
Maybe I am missing smething. But the only thing that matters is your health, if you don't have that, well you have nothing. I'd rather be healthy and poor.

there are alot of questionable and sometimes contradictory things in the post, things that don't make sense. I had a hard time following it all. Money must be the most important thing to some people but to me, my health is. Without your health, all the money in the world will mean nothing.

I only hope this is true and not just being said to appease those of us appalled by the fact that this dog is being treated this way and

From what I have read, and maybe I mis-read, but from what I understand, she can't leave, because if she does, she won't inherit money, enough so that she would never have to work again.
So, in a nutshell, the only reason that she is staying and is putting up with everything, is for the money.
As I said, I could have mis-read/misunderstood.

that's what I thought. I would want it written in stone and the will locked behind a vault to put up with that. Then again, maybe he knows he can treat her that way, because he has leverage (money) over her and she isn't leaving.

I believe you're correct.
I think she works in a prison, so I guess I can see why that atmosphere isn't helping her at all (other than a paycheck and health insurance).

Don't know if her story is true, but she must be feeling better.....she recently posted that CHEF'S Catalog is having a going out of business sale......quite a change from her last couple of posts...

Sadly people have real life drama. Some things are unimaginable to most of us.
But they still offer recipes and seek household tips/advice.
They go to work and the grocery store and post here. Their lives go on even if it's one foot in front of the other.
It seems hard to believe, but I'm sure it's true.

True, Dad might know that she has her eyes on the prize.
But here's the thing, just because she has A copy of A will, does not mean that Dad can't change the will at any time, and not tell her about it.
She said that her cousin drew up the will, well that doesn't mean anything, when it comes to lawyer/client privilege.
For all she knows, when the final will is read, she could find out that dear old Dad left everything to the local homeless shelter, leaving her with nothing.
