Good grief----here, near Seattle where I live, it is raining pigs and chickens!! Going thru a pineapple express where all that rain comes from around Hawaii straight at us--like a fire hose. It is about 62* outside too. Just a deluge now!!

@wagirl I'm in King County (Bellevue) and it's been raining steadily since this a.m. Not hard, had a brief break earlier today.

This has been predicted for at least a week, should let up sometime tomorrow.

Sunshine for Saturday and Sunday yay!

@Love my grandkids --I am in Woodinville--been doing the same here too but just started to pour a few minutes ago-----I keep remembering that awful heat dome we had in June, so all this rain and coolness is fabuloous

@wagirl   DD got disgusted enough a few years ago, they put in a "partial" generator to be sure frig. and a few other areas of the house have power.

I see your storm on Doppler Radar coming from the Pacific Ocean.  Looks like the worst should be over soon, then just spotty.

Wind was so strong the past few days it actually moved a big ol' concrete pot with a spruce tree off the porch and rolled out in the yard

I got out there and rolled it back on the porch, but, not in front of the house yet more protected from the enclosed porch.

Friday I can move it back to the entrance of the porch.

That storm came our way; we got 2 days of big wind.  All the beautiful leaves disappeared.  Albuquerque has had 5"of rain this whole year, I've had about 3" at my house.  We didn't get a drop with this storm.

I'm a Washingtonian, too.  I'm on the eastside.  It is pouring here.

The lawn guys were here yesterday and collected all of the leaves.  You'd never guess that looking out the windows today 🍁🍂🍁

@Shanus, I think I might know where your daughter lives.  One city near me has been out of power for a while.  The Trader Joe's was closed up tight last Sunday and all of the traffic light were out.
