Smiley Happy)))) There aren't too many things I have self pity about. This is definitely NOT one. I'm kind of an adventurous girl, and get myself in little troubles sometimes. As we say, "I wear life like a loose garment".

I'm sorry that you got bit.

Raccoons are pests. I've had them come right in to my apartment and munch away on my kitty kibble. This past spring I had had enough, and took my broom and made sure that they got the point that they are NOT welcomed in, or around my home.

Nasty little varmints. {#emotions_dlg.thumbdown}

The good news is: I have located 2 doses of rabies vaccine so I don't need to go to the ER to get the remaining 2 shots. I will take them to my own doctor. The ER is expensive !!

well, it is something I definitely don't want to repeat {#emotions_dlg.crying} If I lie down (figuratively) with raccoons, I may get a bite. If it happens, go to the ER and they will fix you right up (after a whole batch of injections) Thanks for all the good thoughts {#emotions_dlg.wub}

Raccoons are wild animals, not pets.

Want to see how nasty they can become? Stop feeding them after they have gotten use to being given hand outs.

They need to forage for their food, not depend on humans feeding them.
