I ordered very eary last Sat morning and my order did not ship until late this afternoon...I have noticed the last few times shipping was slower than normal. Has anyone else noticed such a change ?

Yes, I ordered somethng this past Monday and it still hasn't shipped yet.

Definitely finding my orders rarely move out in less than 3 days after ordering. And now that larger items go via UPS Surepost and then get handed off to USPS for local delivery, it adds an extra day for the transfer between package carriers and ultimate delivery.
I lose plenty of enthusiasm for my purchases seeing something on TV, ordering it PDQ before my size or color runs out, and then waiting a week by the time it gets packed and moved, given to UPS, then to the US mail system to get to my door. *Yawn*
QVC seems inconsistent in shipping services and indifferent to customer disappointment. Other vendors with better shipping policies and practices will soon appeal to me more.

My orders are all over the timeline. Some take forever to process and ship, some come fairly quickly. I kind of like it when it takes a while to process, because it gives me time to mull over the purchase and possibly cancel. I just recently cancelled an "in process" order and got the cancellation confirmation. Then, lo and behold! it shipped! I called CS and they said they could see that I cancelled and would not charge for the return. I wonder how many other people cancel when the order is "in process."

Not only is shipping very slow but now nothing is being sent 100% UPS. It's all either the USPS or them plus UPS. They've even extended the EDD to up to 16 days. That UPS distribution center in Hodgkins, IL. is a major point of congestion with some things staying there 3-4 days. Then you wait 2-3 days extra for them to get a pkg to USPS so they can deliver it.
Shop and mail early. Christmas is going to be a nightmare.

Agree 100% with Kachina; it's bad now so the holidays are going to be a nightmare.
I ordered items last Saturday; STILL processing. Meanwhile, I ordered 3 things from HSN on yesterday, they shipped TODAY.
The shipping with US mail only or Surepost caught my eye as well. NOTHING of all the items I ordered (jewelry, clothing, home items) is being shipped UPS. FIRST TIME I've ever had that happen.
Not. Impressed.

I agree. It is taking longer for things to ship. And if you return it, the refund takes forever to be processed. I ordered two of the Northern Night TSV sheet sets and the colors didn't match my decor. They arrived in the same box and I returned them in the same box, same order. I got credit for one this month and the other credit won't appear until next month. I don't know what is going on but shipping and returns are taking much longer.

Occassionally but not often. I think it's because some items ship from the company and not from QVC's wharehouses.

This has only become the norm since the $3.00 shipping fee was established. That's the only explanation that seems reasonable. However, a few larger items have been received through UPS only.

Yep. And again, when I've returned to HSN, the return arrives AND is credited to my account within 3-5 days. Understand that they packages to HSN are traveling FARTHER than the returns to QVC....much farther. Bizarre and it makes you wonder why; especially when you see QVC has received the package and then nothing for 5 days.
I'm not patient anymore with QVC returning my money. Once it goes beyond 4 days, I call CS and ask them to credit my account immediately. They can see that I've mailed it and especially if it has been received by a QVC warehouse- they credit my account then and there.
