I hate them all. They all stink. I don't think it's just about body chemistry. I could smell that awful Jergens stuff as soon as I opened it.

Jergens is one of the worst smelling IMO but the knock-off brands like Target and Walmart don't have such a strong smell.

Over the summer I attended a wedding and all I smelled through the whole ceremony was that awful self-tanner smell. It was disgusting. Then I'd get a hint of the person's perfume mixed with the cat ur~ine smell.

When the ceremony was over I went to say something to my sister and realized it was her!

I wonder what good these fake tans are when no one wants to be around you.

I can't stand any of them either, the smell and the gross way it comes off in splotches and Hate trying to get the stain out of my white clothes and don't dare sit on or lean against anything white .

Anyone ever use a bronzing powder and/or cake type? Just brushing a bronze on legs, possibly arms. I believe one was offered last year? or so..........I'll have to check the Search option. I prefer unscented. p.s. I'm guessing that two people have to apply the self tanner types (on the back, etc.).

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).

This why I like Tarte. You're supppsed to shower in the morning to wash off the color guide. You don't stink then. But, to me, it's the least offensive smelling of any I've tried.

Dr denese on qvc has a clear self tanner that I have been using for years on my legs, arms, even my face! Love it! Drys quickly. Easy to smooth on, lasts and looks good Smiley Happy

I don't notice any smell with tan towels but do with any drugstore cheaper ones. I still think it's body chemistry.

I haven't used any self tanners that didn't break me out in hives. Anyone have that problem?

I only use Tan Towels from HSN....I don't like that ""goop"" c r . p. I love their TSV's too and they are alot less expensive than Kate Sommerville.

I used to use tan towels but I too had the itching and the scent bothered me.

I switched several years ago to FAKE BAKE SELF TANNING SPRAY.

I do not apply with glove.

I simply spray it on like hair spray.

You can go as dark as you like but I prefer just a little color all over.

Saves your skin from baking in the sun

ETA: No scent

I like BE Faux Tan. So many others all smell bad to me.
