I don't go to those chain restaurants. I like the coffee at a breakfast place we go to once in a while. They sell bags of ground coffee. I stock up.

I remember having the best cup of coffee ever in Cancun. In the mornings, they would set out a little continental breakfast in the lobby. They had coffee in a copper urn. It was the best cup of coffee that I have ever had.

Hi, MJ! We just returned from a road trip and stopped at a Cracker Barrel twice, once in southern Illinois and again on the way home, in Oxford, MS. I've always liked their breakfasts, but on this trip, both were absolutely awful. I told my husband to remind me to bypass this chain on our next trip. I've always found the coffee there to be weak, as well.

Yes, we had one around here, it may still be there. A little south of SF. I've been there a couple of times for coffee and a piece of pie

Hi SoX! My motto is, weak coffee is better than no coffee especially on a road trip. But I know what you mean!

You don't have to eat there, just stop in for coffee. Or coffee and toast.
