I know that no subject is sacred to a lot of comedians but I hold late night talk show hosts, especially those who have been around a while, a little more responsible. I didn't watch this. IMO it's not a joking topic on any level even if the focus is spoofing the media rather than ebola. The media can be spoofed with other subjects.

I can't imagine what would be funny about Ebola.

The spoof is against CNN over coverage on ebola. The guy works for some talk show on QVC was a funny line.

Good one
generally not a Conan fan but this was good
and it is not making light of the disease just the over the top coverage

In the interest of being fair and not judging something without seeing it, I watched the video.
It was even worse than I imagined. It was not only making fun of CNN's coverage. During the skit, it made fun of how ebola is transmitted, made fun of how people might overreact to a sneeze, made fun of how people with suspected ebola are handled, made fun of how people with ebola are quarantined, made fun of how people die from ebola (Big Bang cast explosion).
I'm thankful we have stations like CNN covering important news more in-depth than the network news stations that often give us such important stories on such a superficial level that we don't get the important details we need to know. While CNN's coverage might seem over the top to some, I'd rather have too much information than too little.

I didn't see it that way.
Jmo, tho.
