I recently heard a host on one of the shopping channels use the phrase "Sophie's Choice" in reference to how difficult it is to decide on a color of an item.
Thoughts?

Hmmm... i don't like it ....I find any Holocaust reference in bad taste ...
she must have been aware of what it meant as she used it in that
context ....

A person who would use this phrase so thoughtlessly would probably also approve of calling Good Friday "Black Friday."
