I believe there are. Though I often feel perplexed by the grace bestowed upon some of our fellow earth travellers and not others.

I also believe we can be those angels,

as the Alabama song says,

who "come to you and me in our darkest hours,

to show us how to live, to teach us how to give, to guide us with the light of love" with a "kind word from a stranger"

or "to lend a helping hand"

or showing up "just to say I understand."

We're likely presented with this opportunity every single day.
