LOL, I had not seen that one. Just when you think they can't get any worse. I generally mute commercials I find annoying as I don't have a DVR.

I hate the schick commercial with the 3 ladies trimming the bushes, I mean really how suggestive is that one.

That one is pretty silly. The first couple of times I saw it I was thinking - 'wait, what?'. ha!

The Go Daddy ad is tasteless and stupid. Sadly, its what happens when people either don't know or have forgotten the origins of that which they do.
The hip thrust pumping gesture is one that came from guys mimicking an aggressive act of intercourse.
Sadly, when the masses seem to appropriate it as something less, not fully understanding its meaning, it makes for a coarse, vulgar display. I mean, its vulgar anyway. But I suppose kept to the frat house or sports locker room, its something guys might do.
Its why its NOT GOOD when such commercials legitimize it or try to make it funny and a silly thing to do. Its NOT what one wants to see their kids emulating.
And they do. Again, really not even knowing what the gesture is truly indicative of, they just like (and copy) the stupid lady in some even stupider commercial.
Similar is when kids ask to get or come home with a tongue piercing. They think its only fashion. But many of them are completely unaware of the tongue piercing's origins among sex workers and porn stars in oral sex situations.
NO ONE needs to see their 12-year-old boy or girl sitting across the supper table with a tongue stud piercing. They're not being trained to provide better oral sex. And the only "fashion statement" it makes is that they've been unwittingly influenced by the porn and sex industries.
NOT cute.
In fact, when these kids catch on, they'll be mortified to think they walked around during their middle school years looking like they were handing out (so to speak) oral sex in the corridors between classes.
Its up to parents to be DIRECT and HONEST with their kids as to not only the fact that something is tasteless or vulgar or tacky...but WHY.

@Sooner wrote:It's yuck but it got your attention, therefore as a commercial, it is a great success. Go Daddy is stuck in your mind now. . . like the Kardashians. And you are talking about it. Don't tell me yes but it's a bad way. Think about the Kardashians. It works.
I know that's usually true @Sooner but in this case
I had to make a point of noticing finally because when
I wanted to post about it I realized I didn't know what
company it was advertising lol!

Anything from Go Daddy seems to showcase vulgarity and since the creepy founder of the company is a big trophy hunter I boycott anything they advertise for.
Wow @AngusandBuddhasMom I didn't know that.
Thanks for the heads up, that's important to know.

If I'm watching live TV I just hope that I'm 'semi-live' so that I can FF through that bomb.
It's just creepy.
I know @chickenbutt! It's not really the hip
thrusting thing just an overall creep factor lol.
