I was driving down the road to my plan this afternoon and I saw a peacock walking down the street like he owned it. I stopped and shooed him off the road into the woods but he came right back out to the road. this is only the second time in my entire 62 years I have ever seen a peacock - the other time was at the Cattlemens steakhouse in ElPaso this spring and those are tame ones that live there on the ranch. Also the ones at the cattlemans steakhouse were white, not blue, but the one today was georgous teal blue. He seemed pretty tame - I imagine one of the farmers around here own him. I wish he would have opened up his tail.
