We all know the economy is hitting all of us very hard .... that's a given. But, with gas hitting close to $4.00 where I live and groceries having soared in price, what's a person to do? I went to the store the other day, bought 10 food items (and not fancy stuff) and spent $80! OMG. I'm a divorced woman, 66, living alone in a condo and I'm trying to figure out what to eliminate now. I've trimmed everything I possibly can ... don't eat anything pricey ..... I'm beginning to understand why so many of our elderly eat cereal 3x a day, but now the price of that is horrendous too.
Sigh ..............
